My wife and I were hesitant to switch supplemental insurance companies, but with continued rising costs, we decided to look into it. At that time, we were paying $8,892 per year for Plan F premiums with Blue Shield of Arizona.

We replied to an email from AMAC for information, and Ron Lewis contacted us. Ron told us about Medicare Supplement Plan G, which is identical to Plan F except it does not cover the Medicare Part B deductible, which was $233 for all of 2022. (In 2023, the Part B deductible is only $226 for the entire year.) By switching from Plan F to Plan G, we had a gross savings of $5,538, and after paying the small Part B deductible, we had a net savings of $5,072 for the entire year!

We really do appreciate Ron’s assistance. He is knowledgeable in all aspects of insurance, was very reassuring, patient, understanding, and easy to talk with. We had many questions, his responses were quick and thorough, and he kept in touch throughout the process making sure all was going well. When  we moved three years ago into Ocean Hills Country Club (OHCC), we noticed an insurance ad in one  of our three village papers. We clipped out the ad because it asked: Are You Paying Too Much For Insurance?" We started out some twelve  years ago with United American as our supplemental insurer. At that time  we were paying a little over $400.00 per month for supplemental Plan G  insurance for both of us. Over the years there were gradual increases to  the point that we were now paying over $800.00 per month for a plan G.

We have never regreted making that phone call to Ron. He follows  up every year giving us up- dates on what plan G's are being offered and  what other insurers are charging. What we like about Ron is not only did he save us a considerable amount of money, but he follows-up to make sure what we are paying for insurance is the lowest possible price with the best rated insurers.
