Ron Lewis, Independent Insurance Agent
Hi, I'm Ron Lewis! I'm originally from Seattle, WA. I lived in San Diego from 2000 until 2022 when I moved to Reno, NV where I currently reside. I graduated from Western Washington University (WWU) in Bellingham, WA in 1987 where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.
Subsequent to that, I worked as a software and hardware technical writer for 10 years. During that time, I worked for several technology industry giants including Cisco Systems, Qualcomm, and Motorola.
I've been working in the insurance business for over 15 years. Because I really enjoy helping people and working with the "senior" market, I decided to specialize in the area of Medicare Supplement (Medigap) insurance plans. That is my primary focus.
I have two kids, a daughter and a son who are 23 and 21 years old. My daughter is earning her Master's degree at SDSU in Speech Pathology, and my son is a senior at University of Nevada, Reno UNR). They still keep me busy, and they are unquestionably the best thing that ever happened to me!
I believe in building trust and relationships with my clients. Unlike many agents, I won't disappear after you receive your new policy! I stay in touch with my clients, and I contact them every year around their birthday to evaluate their current coverage and to see if I can take advantage of the California Birthday Rule and save them money on their premiums.
